Come and join the Youth Parish Council. We take part in making the community a better place for you to live in.
What do the Youth Parish Council do?
- We help to keep our community clean and a pleasant place for everyone to live in. We do this by participating and completing different projects like, the memorial gardens.
- We meet to discuss these projects. If you are accepted then you will receive a letter three days before each meeting, with the Agenda within these letters.
There is a quick and easy application form which is required to be filled out but then, once you have attended you first meeting and been accepted, you are a youth councillor.
Youth Council Meetings
Meetings take place at 5.00pm in the Spencer Lounge.
Three days before each Meeting, the Agenda will be deposited at the Parish Council Offices for public inspection. In the event of a change in any of the above Meetings, notification will be posted at the Parish Council Offices three days before the intended Meeting.
The agendas are also listed against the respective meeting dates further down this page.
Minutes of Meetings are available for inspection at the Parish Council Offices. Castle Bromwich Library and Solihull Central Library normally have the most recent set of minutes available for inspection. Copies of Agendas, Reports, Background papers and Minutes are available for the Parish Council Offices at a nominal cost.
All Meetings of the Youth Parish Council and its Committees are open for the Press and Public to attend. At some meetings, the Council or Committee may have to discuss confidential items, in which case the Chairman will ask the Press and Public to leave the room for that part of the Meeting.
